PEDIGREE:
Tremendous climaxes marked the career of his sire Rubinstein I. He was bred from what to all intents and purposes is the most significant dressage dynasty of the world. His sporting career left little to be desired and includes his becoming vicechampion of the stallion performance test, winner of the 1990 Optimum of Westphalian Riding Horses in Munster and in the very same year, becoming I-a main premium winner in Oldenburg. Then in 1992, he became federal vice-champion six-yearold dressage horse in Verden. Following that, he was programmed to win in the dressage arena with different riders, before leaving the breeding stage for the big pasture in the sky in 2000. The grey stallion Goldlowe as damsire was one of the last approved sons of the siring legend Gotthard. He won his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf, went to the Oldenburg Kathmann stallion station in Holtrup for a few years, before going to Sweden. The bloodline of the mare Hirtenart (by Grado), which Relevant represents also produced the former Moritzburg state stallion Olymp.

PERFORMANCE:
Relevant did not at first go into breeding following his above average stallion performance test, but was rather promoted further in sport. After winning numerous dressage horse classes he was a placed contestant at the Federal German Dressage Horse Championship and almost playfully proceeded into the advanced class. He has won innumerable intermediate and advanced class competitions, including Prix St. Georges and Intermediaire I. In 1998 he won the basic tournament at the CHID in Aix la Chapelle and participated in the finals of the "Nuremberg Burg Cup" at the Frankfurt Festival Hall. In 1999 he had his debut in Grand Prix', attaining three wins in three starts. In the meantime, he has been having international successes with Lisa Wilcox up to Grand Prix Special.

His foals from the first crops are very popular and the demand, especially from foreign countries, is high.

STUD MANAGERS RECOMMENDATIONS:
After his introduction to breeding the end of June 2000 (following Rubinstein's death), we described Relevant as follows: Striking exterior and scope. Fabulous movement possibilities with plenty of freedom at the shoulder. Significant dam line of former DLG Champion Mare, Hirtin. After successfully passing his stallion performance test in Medingen, Relevant returned to Cappeln in the fall of 1996, where, as a consequence of his admirable rideability and willingness to perform, he has been further trained up to advanced and international level in a very short time.
